The Emotional Architecture of Luxury Living
Atelier Calder Rose creates emotionally resonant interiors, architectural floral compositions and editorial environments for private residences, boutique hospitality and luxury brands.
Our work is grounded in a simple belief: the spaces that surround us have the power to shape how we feel, how we live and how we remember.
We call this the Emotional Architecture of Luxury Living.
Through interior design, materiality, colour, art, objects and floral composition, we create environments with character, warmth and a distinct sense of belonging. Spaces that feel deeply personal to those who inhabit them and memorable to those who experience them.
The Studio
Atelier Calder Rose is an international interior design practice creating considered, characterful environments shaped around the people who experience them.
Our work is led by interior design, with architectural floral composition and editorial styling forming a distinctive part of the studio’s creative language.
Our practice brings together:
Interior design
Architectural floral composition
Procurement
Editorial styling
Spatial refinement
Every project begins with listening. We consider not only how a space should look and function, but how it should feel, how it will be lived in and what should remain with someone after they leave it.
From private residences to boutique hospitality and selected luxury brand environments, our approach combines creative instinct with considered planning and precise execution.
Working internationally, Atelier Calder Rose brings a culturally curious and highly personal perspective to each commission, creating spaces that feel individual rather than prescribed.
For us, luxury is not defined by excess. It is found in atmosphere, materiality, craftsmanship, comfort and the quiet confidence of a space that feels entirely its own.
Our Founder
Atelier Calder Rose was founded by Noëlle Balfour from a deeply held belief that the spaces we inhabit should reflect something of who we are, not simply what we own.
Her approach brings together interior design, an instinctive understanding of proportion and atmosphere, and a distinctive sensitivity to flowers, objects, colour and composition.
Noëlle leads each commission personally, taking time to understand how her clients live, what they are drawn to and, importantly, how they want their surroundings to make them feel.
The result is an approach to design that is considered and intuitive in equal measure, creating interiors that feel personal, expressive and enduring.
Atelier Calder Rose exists to create spaces that mean something to the people who experience them.
